All the beasts of the earth

A Play by Christopher Adams-CoheN

CAST: 5 // 120 Minutes

Jewish-American siblings Isaac and Billie travel to Germany to commemorate their great aunt, who was murdered in the Shoah. Whilst hiking in the Black Forest, they seek refuge from a storm in a seemingly abandoned forest estate inhabited by two mysterious South German sisters, Eva and Lilith. As strange occurrences unfold, the house’s dark National Socialist history is uncovered, and an ancient Jewish mystical legacy reawakens in the land. A revelation of Eva and Lilith’s own hidden Jewish lineage compels the strangers to confront their shared past, and navigate the complexities of a fractured contemporary Jewish identity in diaspora.
